Customer Care Consultant
Remembrance Parks Central Victoria is expanding its Customer Care team located at our head office in Eaglehawk.
We are seeking a customer-focused consultant to support our families in smoothly coordinating services, including burials, cremations, and related memorialisation sales. This position is a Customer Care Team member and works with internal and external stakeholders, including funeral directors, stonemasons and grieving families.
The position’s key responsibilities include:

Customer Care Consultant

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure completion and verification of all documentation in accordance with guidelines
- Take funeral, burial and cremation bookings, meeting customer needs and legislative requirements and following RPCV policies and procedures
- Accurately record burial and cremation bookings – sending booking confirmations in a timely manner
- Timely follow-up to sales and customer enquiries
- Undertake memorial arrangements and plaque sales
- Providing quotes and assisting customers purchasing memorial positions at need and pre-need
- Liaising with suppliers
- Ordering memorial products
- Liaising with funeral directors, monumental masons and other key stakeholders
Selection Criteria
- Experience in customer service or similar type of role
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to display compassion and empathy
- Attention to detail with sound administration and data entry skills
Other requirements
- Current Driver’s License
- Be willing to undertake a National Police Records Check
- Be willing to provide evidence of vaccination status

Funeral and Chapel Attendant/ Crematorium Operator
Remembrance Parks Central Victoria is a not-for-profit organisation within the Victorian public sector. Established as one of five Class A Cemetery Trusts under the provisions of the Cemeteries and Crematoria Act 2003, it is accountable to the Minister for Health through the Department of Health. The trust manages cemeteries within the Central Victoria Region including the Eaglehawk Crematorium.
We currently have several positions available for an opportunity to work in a unique industry and make a real contribution to your community.
This is a full-time position.
The successful applicants will report directly to the Director of Services and be responsible for providing effective and efficient day to day operations of the Crematorium by completing cremations

Position Overview:
This is a full-time position.
The successful applicants will report directly to the Director of Services and be responsible for providing effective and efficient day to day operations of the Crematorium by completing cremations, assisting with funerals and other services as a Chapel Attendant and attending interments of cremated remains as a representative of RPCV.
The position requires a collaborative working relationship across the organisation and with our industry partners including funeral directors, stonemasons and assisting families and the broader community through service delivery and the demonstration of RPCV values.

Conditions of Employment:
- Conditions of employment shall be as prescribed in the RPCV outdoor staff enterprise agreement.
- Normal hours will be anywhere between the bandwidth of 7am -7pm.
- You may need to perform a reasonable amount of overtime and this position will include some weekend work for chapel and cremations if required.
- Expected to comply with all RPCV policies and procedures.
- Supervisor role previously held
- Crematorium operating experience preferred but not essential

About the role
The successful candidate will be required to carry out tasks associated with Grave Digging, Earthworks, Road Maintenance, Landscape construction, and Park Maintenance including the use of Excavators, Backhoes, Tractors, MR Trucks, industrial mowers, and other Park related equipment and more across our cemetery sites in Regional Victoria.
