Grounds Maintenance Officer

Remembrance Parks Central Victoria (RPCV) is a Class A Cemetery Trust operating remembrance parks across Central Victoria. We support families and communities during meaningful moments and deliver respectful, professional services in a highly regulated environment.

We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, working Monday to Friday.

Join our team and make a real impact by keeping our public cemeteries well maintained, welcoming and safe for the community. As Grounds Maintenance Officer, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that maintains and improves the historically important public cemeteries in and around the greater Bendigo region.

About the Role:

As Grounds Maintenance Officer your primary responsibilities will include routine lawn mowing, weeding, garden maintenance, operating irrigation and watering systems and using lawn and garden equipment and tools. Routine maintenance of gardens and grounds will occur across seven different locations in and around Bendigo.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in gardens and grounds maintenance

  • Ability to safely operate and maintain gardening tools, equipment and machinery

  • Good physical fitness for outdoor, manual work

  • A collaborative team player who can also work autonomously

  • Ability to use technology for planning and reporting

  • Safety awareness
