Director - Property, Assets & Infrastructure

Remembrance Parks Central Victoria (RPCV) is a Class A Cemetery Trust operating remembrance parks across Central Victoria. We support families and communities during meaningful moments and deliver respectful, professional services in a highly regulated environment.

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable executive leader to join our Executive Leadership Team. The Director, Property, Assets and Infrastructure will lead the strategic direction of RPCV’s property, asset management, and infrastructure portfolio across multiple locations in regional Victoria.

About the Role:

This position provides planning, development, and maintenance of all RPCV properties, facilities, equipment, fleet, buildings, infrastructure and other assets, ensuring compliance, strong financial stewardship, and high-quality operational performance, including:

  • Developing and implementing asset and infrastructure plans aligned with RPCV’s Strategic Plan

  • Leading capital works programs, project delivery and cemetery master plan implementation

  • Overseeing asset management, maintenance, renewal programs and condition assessments

  • Managing infrastructure services, including roads, water, waste, power and facilities

  • Leading procurement activities and managing contractors, consultants and multidisciplinary project teams

  • Managing departmental and capital budgets, forecasting and financial performance

  • Driving continuous improvement, risk management and compliance across all operations

  • Building and leading high-performing teams through clear direction, coaching and performance management

As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Director contributes to strategic planning, governance, financial sustainability and organisational performance.

This is a senior leadership role requiring strong project and financial oversight, sound judgement and the ability to balance long-term planning with the successful delivery of day-to-day operational outcomes.

About you:

You are an experienced senior leader with a proven track record of developing and implementing strategic asset management plans, leading large-scale infrastructure projects and overseeing maintenance and operational budgets.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Expertise in risk management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement methodologies.

You hold tertiary or vocational qualifications in engineering, construction, project management, asset management or a related field. A current driver’s licence is required. Experience in the public sector, local government, cemetery or not-for-profit environment will be highly regarded.
